Repairs to heat exchangers
Heat exchanger with copper tubes and aluminium fins can be repaired if the copper tubes have burst. This is usually due to freezing or steam erosion (in steam coolers.)
Copper end tubes on a heat exchanger
If the end tubes have burst they can usually be replaced.
If a heat exchanger is beyond repair they can be copied or reconditioned with a new core.
